From the lyric sheets of Martin Newell in The Independant Friday Review comes "A Pop Fan's Guide to Jazz". This lengthy song ends with the verse:

Passing the trad-jazz test is much easier,
All trad-band supremos have simple names,
Terry/ Bob/ Len, then Collier/ Denton/ Mulligan.
Followed by "...and his Jazzmen/ Stompers".
Traddies or "mouldy figs" differ from modernists
For instance, instead of taking turns to play solos
Everyone just plays full throttle the whole time
Til the drummer shouts, "Ooyaa!", and they stop.
